DELETE ACCOUNT

// IN-APP (FASTEST)

The quickest way to delete your account is from inside the app:

1. Open DEFICIT
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Delete Account
4. Confirm the deletion

Your account and server-side data are removed immediately.

// REQUEST BY EMAIL

If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address on your account:

Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We process requests within 30 days and will email you once your data has been removed.

// WHAT GETS DELETED

• Your account credentials (email, password hash)
• Your profile and goals (weight, targets, preferences)
• Your food logs and history stored on our servers
• Your subscription record on our servers
• Any usage data tied to your account

// WHAT WE MAY RETAIN

To comply with legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations, we may retain a minimal record of transactions (e.g. App Store / Play Store purchase receipts) for the period required by law. This data is not linked to an active account and is not used for any other purpose.

// SUBSCRIPTIONS

Deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID or Google account settings before or after deletion.
